Vivacity is an approved fitness qualification training provider for ActiveIQ and a lifeguard training provider for the Royal Lifesaving Society UK. Our tutors are highly qualified, with a wealth of experience gained from working in our venues, whether as personal trainers, gym/class instructors or centre managers.

Our courses will give you everything you need to get started or progress in your career, opening up opportunities within Vivacity or elsewhere in the leisure sector.

Global leading qualifications

Active IQ is globally recognised as a leader in awarding qualifications for the physical activity sector. The qualifications open doors to clear career pathways. As an approved centre, we deliver Active IQ qualifications using our own expert staff.

Training in a real gym

Practical elements of the fitness courses are carried out in one of our fully equipped gyms and lifeguard training in one of our swimming pools.

Small groups

Face-to-face learning for fitness qualifications is carried out in small groups of no more than 6 people, so you get plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the course tutor. For lifeguard training, there will be up to 12 people on the course.

Blended learning

Our fitness courses blend online learning with face-to-face training, making it easy to complete the qualification in your own time to suit your personal circumstances, while getting the maximum benefit from our tutors.
