To ensure the delivery of high-quality customer-focused leisure services

To deliver inductions/programs for Gym members

To carry out gym and equipment testing and cleaning tasks in accordance with normal operating procedures.

Ensure the safety and well-being of customers at all times

Operate the leisure facilities in accordance with the companies Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plan.

To provide high quality Personal Training Sessions (up lift rate applies)

To provide high quality Fitness Classes  (up lift rate applies)

To provide high quality sports coaching  (up lift rate applies

Support the development and delivery of customers fitness programs.

Assist members in reaching individual goals through planning and motivation

Motivate clients who have reached a plateau in their fitness journey

Prepare facilities in accordance with the daily rota, cleaning specification and the Duty Manager’s instructions.

To ensure the correct use of the gyms, studios and equipment in accordance with the centres operating procedures.

To carry out gym induction for customers and create personalised programmes

To support promotional initiatives and marketing plans and assist with customer consultation work.

To patrol the gym and studio’s ensuring the safety, well being and motivation of members.

To provide group and personal fitness tuition to members ensuring customers needs are met

To complete administrative duties for the induction, monitoring and evaluation of members ensuring personal and confidential fitness information is handled in accordance with company procedures. 

Report any health and safety matters immediately to the Duty Manager and undertake any remedial action.

Ensure and embody high standards of customer care at all times

Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our customers.

Undertake any other duties as and when requested by the Duty Manager.

To work the necessary shift patterns to ensure the service is appropriately staffed at all times

Experience in delivering great customer service (E)

Experience of working in the Leisure (E)

Experience of working in a service delivery customer focused environment  (D)

Experience in dealing with difficult customers (D)

Experience of working across multiple sites (D)

Experience of working with cash and till system (D)

Ability to quickly learn new skills (E)

A current Level 3 Register of Exercise professional (REPS) or ability to gain (with support from the company) in 12 weeks (E)

GCSEs C grade or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths (D) 

A First Aid at Work qualification or willingness and ability to gain (with support from the company) in 12 weeks (E)

An enhanced DBS check (E) 

A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Pools)  or ability to gain (with support from the company) in 12 weeks (D)

A full valid driving license or ability to easily get to all facilities (E)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (D)

Understand  the importance of Health and Safety and its application (E)

Understand of the importance of and commitment to Equalities and Diversity and its application (E)
